For Charlie's 3rd birthday we went big and got her a big girl swing set from a local builder. The best I got was this sassy photo of the day it was brought home.
On her actual birthday, we took a group trip to the local "zoo" to see all the animals. It was a fabulous, low key day to celebrate our little lady. As you can imagine we spent an extraordinary time with the ponies.
For her birthday party, we kept it small with family. This year I went for a "theme" of Beauty and the Beast. I painstakingly stayed up very late on the night before to put together this silverware chandelier from the movie. There was glitter everywhere. I had to get a shower at 2 in the morning before I could crawl into bed. So. Much. Glitter.
At the age of 3, Charlie is still attempting potty training. Wearing pull ups, peeing on the potty occasionally, doesn't care much for pooping on the potty. Her movie of choice is Beauty and the Beast, the new one. It came out in theaters for mama's birthday this year and we made a family trip to go see it. Every since we could get it on DVD, she's been all about it. If this kid could live outdoors she definitely would. Her goal in life is to be daddy's sidekick as often as possible. Currently she's big into tutu type dresses, any dress that twirls really. And she's all about wearing her twirly dresses with her rubber rain boots.
